Whether you're searching for parcel data, zoning information, or other public GIS datasets, WhereWolf makes GIS data discovery fast and free.
We index a comprehensive range of public GIS data including parcel records, zoning maps, right-of-way boundaries, utilities, building footprints, infrastructure layers, environmental data, and more. If a county publishes it via an ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Rest service, GeoServer, or WMS/WFS service, WhereWolf helps you discover and access it.
Yes! You can browse all counties, view data sources, and use the interactive map for free. Pro features like downloads require a paid subscription.
Our automated crawlers check each GIS server daily to ensure it's online and responding correctly. Verified layers have passed health checks and return valid GeoJSON or other standard formats.
We re-crawl all sources daily. When new layers are discovered or existing layers go offline, you'll see those changes reflected within 24 hours.
We're currently focused on Florida but plan to expand to other states. If you need a specific county, contact us and we'll prioritize it.
Absolutely! Use the contact form or email us with the server URL and we'll add it to our crawler queue.
Pro users can download cached layers as GeoJSON or Shapefile. We're working on adding additional formats like KML and CSV.
